Graveyard plume agate cab ~
Offered here is an intriguing cabochon of Graveyard Point plume agate, from eastern Oregon. This example, cut by Chris, exhibits a variety of colors and fluffy plumes and tendrils, with black shadowed areas that are actually glittery metallic marcasite. Some areas of the translucent agate background appear yellow, while others are clear or bluish. Nice contrast here, and I think the boy did a fine job in making the most of it. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a versatile shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
