Willow creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a vivid cabochon of Willow Creek jasper, from Idaho. This amazing porcelain material, affectionately dubbed the queen of jaspers, is a great favorite around here. This stone was cut from rough purchased directly from the miner; I'm always hoping for good color, of course, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! There are lovely shades of pink, dusty rose, and avocado, and even some hints of gold, with a few gemmy translucent areas. In case you can't tell for sure, there are no fractures present, it's all just wild and beautiful pattern.The stone has a rounded dome of 6+mm, a sleek designer shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
