Mexican lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon cut from top shelf Mexican crazy lace agate. This cab is a wondrous example, featuring a pleasantly ornate pattern in orange chiffon, with accents of crimson, gold, and a pastel palette of pink and peach. Thick white banding encloses a cystalline core (which is open and studded with crystals on the backside), and many sagenitic tubes add intricate detail. I particularly like the subtle bullseyes, and the row of six-sided orange pseudomorphs along one side. This remarkable beauty is a keeper! The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a bold designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
