Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. This classic porcelain jasper is a great favorite of collectors, becoming more valuable and more scarce almost by the day. This fine example has earthy tans contrasting with chocolatey browns in a wild, almost scenic, pattern that includes hints of blue-gray. I've had this stone in my collection for several years, and I hope it finds a home that appreciates it as much as I have. It's going to be wondrous in even the simplest of settings! The cab has a high rounded dome just shy of 6mm, a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
