Confetti agate cab ~
Offered here is a very special collector's cabochon of choice pom pom agate, from Needle Peak in Texas. This is an uncommon but classic material not often seen in recent years, and one that's very appropriately named, as you can see. It has a trio of well defined yellow pom poms, along with a couple tiny bullseyes, in a translucent background of rich warm honey/amber. The backlit photo reveals several other bullseyes and the central fortification as well. Just awesome! The stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a designer 'catseye' shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
