Confetti agate cab ~
Offered here is a large deluxe cabochon of choice confetti agate, from Mexico. This is an uncommon but classic material seldom seen in recent years, and one that's very appropriately named, as you can see. It's a real upbeat carnival of celebration, fairly packed with the characteristic 'islands' of confetti, mostly in pinks edged with maroon, as well as some smaller flecks of yellow and areas of red. In addition, the butterscotch background agate in the cab is at least somewhat translucent, though I neglected to take a backlit photo. Adding to the unique character are a few sparkly drusy pockets, as well as several tiny voids in the red pointed tip, typically seen in confetti agate. It'll be a knockout featured in either gold or silver, no doubt, or a splendid addition to your collection. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a gracefully fluid designer shape, and a super glossy polish both front and back.
