Sonora Sunrise cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of Sonora Sunrise, from Mexico. This fabulous new material has a wonderfully striking color combination, and it is 100% natural. The rough rock is on the spendy side, but I think the brilliant cabs it yields definitely make it worthwhile. This vivid example has a neat webbed pattern in the green to greenish blue chryscolla area, contrasting strongly with the blood red cuprite at the other end. Nice olive greens here and there too. Sonora Sunrise is truly amazing stuff, bristling with designer potential, as this brilliant stone just naturally captures admiring attention wherever it goes. I think you'll do great things with it, in even the simplest of settings. This substantial cab has an extra high and well rounded dome of 8.5mm, a graceful designer shape, and a surprisingly glossy polish both front and back.
