Mook jasper ~
Offered here is a cabochon of delightfully colorful mookaite, aka mook jasper, from Australia. This fine grained material, at its best, is very hard and durable, close to porcelain in nature. This lovely stone is rather scenic, with several tiny black dendritic trees and bushes against rich blended hues of maroon, reddish-orange, pink and yellow, plus pastels of all those colors, along with cream and white. Beautiful streaming patterns wind around and through the stone. Quite an attractive mix, just the thing that'll make your creations stand out from all the rest! The cab has a beautifully high rounded dome of 7mm, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
