Laguna agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Laguna agate, from Mexico. This lovely example features razor-fine fortification banding in pink shades, framing a tiny pool of translucent blue agate edged with flecks of rosy red. Adding even more character is an array of tubes: One in orange, and a few others edged in gold bands with brownish mossy figures at their centers. Sweet! It has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a sleek and versatile designer shape, and a slick, glassy polish both front and back.
