Exotica jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of porcelain jasper from Mexico, called Exotica. This cabochon features an intriguing pattern in purple and pinkish-red tones against a rich creamy old ivory background. I always most favor those examples that show the rippled bullseye patterns, like this one, with its one large 'eye'. Added to bold lightning strokes going every which way, as well as some streaks of maroon and a darkly shiny sub-metallic, it's a very cool stone with boatloads of designer potential. Folks just love the stuff, and I think you will too. In case you're unsure, there are no fractures present; any odd lines are simply part of the figure, as formed. This cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'spear' shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
