King cobra jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from king cobra jasper, from India. This recent material arrived with deliciously bright new tropical hues, quite unlike the cobra jasper I'd seen before, which is drab by comparison. The new stuff is light years more exciting. This example is a YUMMY mango orange, with areas of marigold yellow that are almost orbs. The small white and grayish pools are darkly edged, and filled with a quartz blend, some crackly, some translucent, some both. Try a cab of this colorful jasper, I'm sure you'll be thrilled! The stone has a well rounded dome of nearly 6.5mm, a versatile designer shape, and a fabulous polish both front and back.
