Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of the classic favorite Regency rose plume agate, grand old stock from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This stone features an fascinating display of golden yellow plumes with rosy reddish shadows, afloat in a background of translucent blue-gray to pastel yellow agate. There are also some odd little dark streaks fanning out from some of the plume tips which, oddly enough, look like tiny shooting stars. The cab has a remarkable dimension of depth to it, making this one extraordinarily beautiful! It has a generously high and rounded dome of 7mm, and a long designer 'pillow' shape that's polished both front and back.
