Imperial jasper cab ~
Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This porcelain material is becoming tough to come by lately, particularly the kind with the best patterns and colors. This example has amazing 'curtain' figure in pastel shades of pinkish beige, overlaid with darker streamers. I've heard it refered to as spiderweb by some, and it does show a resemblance to Idaho's famed Willow Creek jasper. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, a gracefully sleek designer shape, and a super slick, glassy polish both front and back.
Size: 54x19mm
