Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of premium Montana agate, collected along the banks of the Yellowstone River years ago. This classic stone features an intrguing display of brownish-orange and black dendrites, in a highly translucent agate background. The finish on this one is so slick and smooth, it was challenging to capture digitally; it reflected everything in the room! Particularly pretty when backlit, the stone has a great degree of depth, and in person I think it's nicer than the photos... The cab has a high, well rounded dome, a crisp symmetrical shape, and a superb 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
