Included quartz cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of included quartz, from Brazil. I purchased the rough for this fascinating cab as tourmalated quartz, but I'm not not 100% sure that's what it is... The forest of dark green needles might possibly be chlorite or epidote, or something else entirely. Whatever the name, this stone is outstanding, to say the least. Except for some subtle areas of sparkling 'fairy frost', the quartz is quite clear, as you can see from the backlit photo. It has a high rounded dome, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
