Morrisonite jasper cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of colorful morrisonite jasper, from the Morrison Ranch area in Oregon. This collectibly rare material is said to be 'the king' of all the various species of hard porcelain jaspers, and this cab is an excellent example. It has a bold pattern that suggests movement in muted blues, peach and pleasing old ivory, as well as several rusty reddish brown streamers. This substantial stone has a very high rounded dome, a gracefully sleek designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
