Moss opalite cab ~
Offered here is a designer cab of moss opalite, from Australia, also known as dendritic opalite. This unusual form of opal does not have fire, but it does certainly have a delightful display of flowery dendrites in black and rust, lending the stone a nice organic feel. The yellow background is somewhat translucent too, adding a degree of depth. The stone has a very high rounded dome, a symmetrical 'S' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
