Fantasy jasper cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of fantasy jasper. This is a relatively new find from the Sierra Madres mountains in Mexico, on the Rancho Colorado claim. It's an awful lot like the grand old butterfly wing jasper, with it's colorfully striking patterns. This extra fancy cab certainly has that going for it, in a near rainbow of wild colors! The pattern almost looks like the woodgrain in a sectioned tree. The cab has a very high rounded dome, and a super slick shiny polish both front and back.
