Charoite cab ~
Here is a sweet little cabochon of charoite, from Russia. This cab features a lovely pearly chatoyance in deep purples, along with some translucent pools of feldspar, and areas of black aegirine-augite. The stone has a high rounded dome, a flat-backed 'bullet' shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
