Sugilite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of sugilite, from the Wessels mine near Kuramen, South Africa. This manganese gem features a very desireable reddish purple coloration, with an appeal all its own. The thing I like best about sugilite, other than the pleasing color, is that it looks equally terrific in either silver or gold. And this one will do you proud. The cab has a very high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a designer 'paisley' shape, and an excellent polish both front and back.
