Owyhee jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This famous member of the porcelain jasper family features delightful figure in creamy burnt yellows, with appealing streaks of dark red and orange. One of my all time favorite jaspers, this one's a splendid example of the so-called old stock red that's getting tough to come by these days. The stone has a very high rounded dome, a designer 'paisley' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
