Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of top quality Montana agate, cut from rough I 'found' last July in a Montana rockshop. heh It features a splash of reddish orange, with ribbons of black dendrites which form a series of bands, afloat in a translucent agate background. The first pic shows the stone as rather dark, but it really isn't; in hand it's lighter and brighter, much more like the backlit photo. It's a unusual beauty, certainly, and I hope it inspires you to create something marvelous! The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, and a brilliant 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
