Montana agate tongue ~
Here is a tongue of top quality Montana agate, old stock from the banks of the Yellowstone River. This pattern is refered to by some as 'mosquito agate, for the concentrated swarm of dendrites it contains. It has a very translucent agate background which shows them all off nicely, adding a slightly bluish hue to the stone. It's a beauty I hope will inspire you! This bullet-shaped stone is oval in cross section, 6mm thick, brilliantly polished on all surfaces.
