Chrysoprase cab ~
Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of Australian chrysoprase from a newly discovered find at Yerilla, Australia. It's a gemmy translucent chalcedony colored in subtle shades of green by the presence of nickel. This particular example has some threads and patches of contrasting rusty brown, along with some black dendrites, and some dark silvery metallic flecks too. The cab has a high rounded dome, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
