Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here we have a designer cabochon of top quality ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This striking example was cut from new material sent to me by a friend, and I must say I really love the stuff! The contrast of the greens against the peachy reddish-orange is truly eye catching. There are a couple tiny crystalline vugs, and one larger one on the backside, but nothing that'll hinder setting in any way. Anything you choose to design around this beauty will automatically draw admiring attention, no matter how simple or fancy the setting. The cab has a very high rounded dome of 8mm, a sleek 'chevron' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
