Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Priday polka dot agate, also known as 'blue ice', which hails from Oregon. This grand old material is a real treat to work with, when you can find it, and never fails to cut extraordinary stones. This fine example has an almost opalescent quality to its pale bluish-purple agate. It's cut in an almond shape that compliments the subtle pattern nicely, with a well rounded dome, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
