Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Montana agate, cut from Yellowstone River agate found long ago. This particular piece was part of an old stash I lucked into this past summer, and it really is a unique rarity. Check out the 'water level' lines and the unusual coloration. I should note the presence of a small healed hairline toward the pointed end, though it's not distracting atall, and the stone is solid and stable. It's especially attractive held to the light, as illustrated by the backlit photo, and would look stunning in an open backed setting. It has a nicely rounded dome, a designer 'paisley' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
