Forest fire jasper cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon of classic forest fire jasper, also sometimes known as 'smoke and embers' jasper, or tabu tabu, from Africa. (Easy to see why it got such fiery names!) This brecciated stone features a bold pattern in peach and crimson, with threads of black and crystalline quartz, the latter of which is translucent. This vibrant stone has a very high rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
