Parrot wing jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of premium old stock parrot wing jasper, from Mexico. It features a varied pattern of exceptionally vivid turquoise blues and greens, with dabs of black and white, and a bit of reddish brown at the tip. The coloration is actually much nicer and more electric than the photos depict. I really enjoy cabbing this material for use in my own jewelry; it's striking, and unlike some other parrot wing jasper I've had, this took a brilliant polish very easily. The cab has a high rounded dome and a sleek designer shape, polished both front and back.
