Amazonite cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of amazonite, from Canada. It features a pleasingly rich 'iced turquoise' shades. Nice translucence too, as illustrated by the backlit photo, with just a hint of silvery schiller that shows at certain angles. In fact, except for the peek-a-boo schiller effect, the color looks a lot like some of the larimar I have here. The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curved shape, and a fine polish both front and back.
