Butterfly wing jasper cab ~
Offered here is a largish cabochon of fine old stock butterfly wing jasper, from Mexico. This old time favorite brecciated jasper is a long sought after classic, and mighty tough to come by these days, in any kind of quality. This cab is an excellent example, with a face full of colorfully varied figure, including spiderweb threads of maroon, smoky and white agate. No cracks, just pattern, so you just can't go wrong with this one; it definitely won't disappoint! The cab has a very high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a gracefully curvy designer 'flame' shape, and a super smooth glassy polish both front and back.
